Postdoctoral Reseach Position

We seek outstanding candidates for POSTDOCTORAL research positions in regeneration studies specifically oriented towards new therapies for Parkinson's, Huntington's, ALS and Alzheimer's disease. The candidates should have a therapeutic focus and extensive knowledge in neurobiology and/or clinical neurosciences. Research involves animal models, gene therapy, neural cell culture, genetics and neurobiology.

Technical Research Assistant

There is an immediate opening for a 2-year technical research assistant position in the Center for Neuroregeneration Research at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. This position entails assisting with projects related to human stem cells, iPS cells, and dopaminergic regeneration for Parkinson's disease and neurodegenerative disorders.

This laboratory is affiliated with the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center, The Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the Harvard Program in Neuroscience. Our center has a track record of helping technicians and research assistants with long-term career plans.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in neurobiology or related studies. Some background/experience in cell culture, in vitro bioassays and molecular studies relevant to Parkinson's disease (PD) is a plus.
